Columbia Pictures has released a new trailer for their upcoming reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man.
The new trailer features a few shots of the Lizard, the villain of the piece; but most of the talk about the trailer is centered on the hints it gives to Spider-Man’s new origin story.
Specifically, the trailer shows Peter’s lost father doing scientific research on spiders, and says that what happened to Peter was not an accident; suggesting that Papa Parker may have given Peter his spider powers on purpose.
