Discotek Media added another Urban Vision license rescue to its catalog today with the announcement of Tekkaman Blade II.
Like Hurricane Polymar, this title is an OAV sequel to a TV series. Tekkaman Blade II was a follow-up to Tekkaman Blade (itself a sequel to the ’70s’ series Tekkaman), which was dubbed and aired on American TV under the title Teknoman. That series was released on DVD by Media Blasters.
The six episode Tekkaman Blade II OAV series will be released on a bilingual DVD next year.
