The Doctor’s second companion of the modern age, the young medical doctor Martha Jones, is depicted in fully-articulated 12 inch form complete with fabric clothing.
The Canadian ToyCon (previously the Burlington ToyCon) held its ‘September Edition’ this Sunday. What started as little more than a dealers room has expanded into more traditional convention activities in recent years, with special guests and a costume contest; but they haven’t quite gotten the knack of those yet.
Lego, and its red-headed stepchild Mega Blocks, had a huge presence at this year’s Fan Expo in Toronto.
Their life-sized, plastic-block-based renditions of comic book, sci-fi, and video game characters littered the showroom floor and were constantly surrounded with photographers.
The company also handed out Darth Maul Lego figures to con-goers, but I think they ran out the first day.
