BBC’s New Zombie Series

Picture 1The BBC is entering the zombie TV market with its new series In The Flesh.

Unlike other entries in the genre, which typically take the form of post-apocalyptic horror stories, In The Flesh is about a world trying to reintegrate the returned dead back into society (presumably, these dead aren’t cannibals, otherwise that plan would be unpractical).

First Look at World War Z

The first footage from the big-budget zombie movie World War Z is set to make its debut on Entertainment Tonight (way to know your audience, marketers!) this Thursday.

ET apparently couldn’t wait and has posted 20 some-odd seconds of it online.  We’re not sure what to make of it.  The zombies are less walking dead, and more rolling blob.  It’s kind of like Katamari Damacy with corpses.

Big Tits Zombie Announced for DVD

eOne Entertainment has announced a November 20th release date for the 2010 Japanese zombie comedy Big Tits Zombie.

It stars Japanese adult video star Sora Aoi (which translates to ‘Blue Sky,’ fyi) as a stripper who, along with her stripper friends, fights off a zombie infestation.

When I was eight, I used to end every short story I wrote for school with, ‘and then the Earth blew up and everyone died.’  I wasn’t morbid, I just thought it was cool to end everything with a giant, action movie explosion.  Watching Zombie Self-Defense Force, I can’t help but think that its producers feel the same way.
