Jenna-Louise Coleman Describes The Doctor Who Audition Process

The BBC has posted a short interview with Doctor Who‘s new companion, Jenna-Louise Coleman, in which she discusses the the audition process that lead to her landing the role of Clara.

There was apparently a high level of secrecy, as in the first audition, she was only asked to read for a Victorian governess character named Jasmine; it wasn’t until the second that they teamed her up with Matt Smith (The Doctor) and had her play the character of Clara that we now know to be the new companion.
