Earlier this month, we posted a story about the terrorist threats that have been plaguing people and institutions associated with the anime / manga series Kuroko’s Basketball. Those threats led Comic Market, the largest comic convention in the world, to ban groups from selling Kuroko-themed dojinshi (fan-made comics, often parody or erotic in nature).
Just to give you an idea of how big Comiket is, that ban resulted in the absence of 900 fan circles! That, out of a total of 11,700. The good news is that the convention, currently on its second day, has been free from attack, and the cosplayers have not been scared off.
