Cast Photo from BBC’s New ‘Neverwhere’ Series

Benedict_Cumberbatch_and_the_cast_of_Neverwhere___first_photo_and_air_date_revealedNeil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, about an office worker who is swept into London’s magic-filled underworld, started life as a BBC TV series, before the author converted it into a novel.

Now it’s coming back to the BBC, this time as a radio show.  The six part series premieres Saturday March 16th at 6 PM on Radio 4.

The cast for this production is quite impressive.  Headlined by James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class) as Richard (the office worker), it also includes Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness) as Islington and Christopher Lee (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings) as the Earl of Earl’s Court.

No word yet on when people in the west will be able to hear it, but it will probably pop up for sale on AudioGo before long.
