‘Grimm’ Moves To Tuesday

Screen Shot 2013-04-19 at 7.08.24 PMThe normal life cycle for a high-concept sci-fi/fantasy network series is to start with great fanfare in a cushy weeknight slot, then quickly bleed viewers and get shuffled off to Friday nights to die (see Touch).

But NBC’s fairy tale cop drama Grimm is going the other way.  Starting April 30th, it will leave it’s current Friday at 9 PM time slot, and take up residence Tuesday nights at 10 PM, following the network’s top-rated The Voice, which isn’t a great fit, but having a popular lead-in always helps.

Interestingly, this may actually help Touch, which has consistently lost in the ratings to Grimm.
