The Carcass of Bandai Entertainment is Divided

witch-hunter-robin-robin-01During this weekend’s Otakon, Sentai Filmworks and Funimation separately announced a slew of licenses formally held by the now-defunct Bandai Entertainment.

Funimation definitely got the pick of the litter, with Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, and Code Geass.  But Sentai picked up a few hidden gems, with Infinite Ryvius, Brain Powered, and s-CRY-ed.

All of these titles are from the anime studio Sunrise, so it’s worth noting that their crown-jewel, the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, is nowhere to be found on either list.
